JACKSON, Miss. - The Mississippi Business Alliance Political Action Committee (MSBA-PAC) has endorsed Judge John Weddle for Mississippi Court of Appeals, District 1, Position 1.
MSBA-PAC recognized Weddle as the candidate in the race best positioned to uphold impartiality and fairness while respecting the constitutional separation of powers among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government.
An impartial, fair, and rule-of-law judiciary is essential to free enterprise and entrepreneurship. The committee emphasized that courts should apply the law rather than legislate from the bench, protecting the stable legal foundation that Mississippi employers and employees rely on.
